Etherion Whitepaper
Collect Legends. Own The Battle. A technical and philosophical account of the on-chain fantasy universe behind Etherion.
Last updated July 2026
Abstract
Etherion is a premium, on-chain fantasy trading card game that pairs verifiable digital ownership with collectible strategy gameplay. Every card minted into the Etherion universe is a genuine NFT, secured on-chain and organized under a transparent five-tier rarity system. This document outlines the vision, mechanics, technology, and roadmap that carry Etherion from its current Genesis phase through full community governance.
Vision & The Problem
Traditional trading card games — digital or physical — place collectors at the mercy of a single publisher: drop rates are opaque, ownership is revocable, and value rarely leaves the platform it was created on. Etherion was built to remove that dependency.
Every card's rarity is determined on-chain at mint time, every asset is a wallet-owned NFT, and every trade happens on an open marketplace rather than inside a walled garden. Collectors own their legends the same way they would own any other digital asset — permanently, and independent of Etherion as a company.
The Etherion Universe
The Etherion universe is home to ancient dragons, void entities, phoenix royalty, and the elemental forces that give each card its identity. Confirmed elements in circulation today include Fire, Dark, and Void, with further elements to be unveiled as the lore expands through later phases.
Each card carries a type (e.g. Ancient Dragon, Fire Creature, Dark Warrior), a level, and a rarity tier — together forming the building blocks collectors use to build a deck and duelists use to compete.
Card & Rarity System
Every card is verifiably minted into one of five rarity tiers. Rarity is generated using Chainlink verifiable randomness at mint time, so no tier can be predicted or manipulated in advance. Out of a fixed collection of 10,000 cards:
Featured Legends
A handful of legends anchor the current collection — each one illustrating how element, type, and rarity combine into a single collectible identity.

Gameplay: Collect, Trade & Battle
Collectors assemble decks from owned cards and enter PvP duels, guild battles, and seasonal tournaments. A rotating Season Pass rewards consistent play, while guild structures let collectors coordinate strategy and share in tournament prize pools.
Because every card is a wallet-held NFT, decks are portable: what a collector builds in Etherion belongs to them, and can be traded, loaned, or sold independently of any single match.
Marketplace & True Ownership
The Etherion marketplace lets collectors list, discover, and buy cards directly from one another, with full on-chain provenance for every transfer. Floor prices and trading volume are transparent and public, so value is set by the community rather than by Etherion itself.
Technology & Security
- Ethereum — settlement layer for minting, ownership, and marketplace transfers.
- IPFS — decentralized storage for card artwork and metadata, so assets outlive any single server.
- Chainlink — verifiable randomness for rarity assignment at mint, auditable by anyone.
- Robinhood Chain — EVM-compatible layer used for low-fee gameplay and marketplace transactions.
Smart contracts governing minting, marketplace, and the ETRH token are intended to undergo independent third-party audits ahead of each major mainnet milestone.
ETRH Token & Treasury
ETRH is the utility and governance token of the Etherion ecosystem, introduced alongside the Phase IV: Ether Treasury milestone. Planned utility includes:
- Governance voting weight within the Council of Eternity DAO
- Marketplace fee discounts for holders
- Staking rewards funded by the Ether Treasury
- Priority access to whitelist mints and future drops
Full token allocation, supply schedule, and DEX listing details will be published ahead of the Phase IV launch.
